So i have a harmony 880 with all my devices and activites setup.  The only problem is when the watch tv activity starts and I press the guide button it wants to do guide for the tv and not my cable box.  So then i have to click devices, PVR, and then the guide button will open up my dvr guide and i can scroll through them.  This extra step wouldn't be all too painful except when i'm under the dvr device i can't volume up or down, so then i have to go back to devices>TV and then i can change the volume again.  Thoughts?

In the software, select your activity, select Customize Buttons, then map the correct device and command to the Guide button.

So i was able to custom map the button but now it just brings the guide up then immediatly closes it.

you will want to adjust your repeats down to a lower value, the Harmony sends multiple commands some devices take 1 or 2 hits of this command while others take more. Your set top box prob requieres less. Use this link to help you with decreasing the repeats on your set top box.
