That link takes you in an endless loop, you never get to the download page

On the linked page, please click on the remote that you own (for example H900), and click on Software Downloads on the top right corner of the following page.

Re: Harmony Software Updated for OS X Lion and OS X Snow Leopard (64-bit)

When I launch ver 7.8.0 on OS/X 10.6.8 I get the message:

Cannot launch "logitech Harmony Remote Software"  No compatible version of Java 1.4* is available.  Two buttons are available in the dialog box: "Open Java Preferences" and "Quit".  Clicking on the former changes the message to "No compatible version of Java 1.5+ is available".  Clicking on Quit closes the box and stops installation.   Apple recently pushed an update to Java 6 to deal with the flashback worm.  Is this causing the problem?

Mine loads once I restart the iMac. BUT once closed down it won't load again (it just hangs at the startup screen after checking the network and software version) until the computer is restarted once again.

Is anyone else suffering from this?

Re: Harmony Software Updated for OS X Lion and OS X Snow Leopard (64-bit)

I've updated to the new software and it is not working for me.  When I plug in the remote, a new network connection is established (in my case, en4) and my computer's IP on this interface is 192.168.142.1.  I've discovered the the IP of the remote is 192.168.142.2 and I can intiate a telnet connection to it (get a login prompt).  So I know that the connection is working.

However, the software just sits at '0% Complete' indefinately when trying to program the remote.

Re: Harmony Software Updated for OS X Lion and OS X Snow Leopard (64-bit)

I am not able to get the remotes to be dectecting in 32 or 64 bit. I am on lion 10.7.3. I have a big install for this weekend and I have 6 900's I am unable to program and 2 I need to chage the macros for.

Logitech is there any work arounds. I have been using harmony remotes for years. At least I was able to work in 32 bit mode before. I think its time to look into alternatives. Ever since lion came out the software has been spotty at best and the QC on the 900's has been very poor (lots of failed units and white screens). I guess its time to move on.

Is there at least a work around to get me through this final install?
