Re: Harmony Software on OSX Lion (64-bit)

Consider my post as an official complaint. Update your software to support Lion. Why on earth would you not update software is beyond my comprehension. Resorting to 32 bit mode is ridiculous. In a time when 64 bit should be the norm it's time to get with the times.

Please update the software.

Re: Harmony Software on OSX Lion (64-bit)

I cannot believe that a company as progressive as Logitech would not consider updating the Harmony software for Lion.  Lion is the future for Apple, as is 64 bit.  It is ridiculous to consider not updating the software.  Please update ASAP.  The remotes are amazing and I need to be able to update the remote easily as technology changes.

It worked so well -- until I upgraded to Lion.  Understand that it can take time to update your software but please make it quick.  Oh, what's that?  You may not upgrade your software?  Bad decision.

Seriously... Having to reboot into 32 bit mode to support a remote control is ridiculous. I never have to reboot my MBP. What a pain.

Re: Harmony Software on OSX Lion (64-bit)

Logitech, please update the Harmony Remote software to be compatible with 64-bil Lion. This is rediculous. I will not disrupt everyone in my household to boot into 32-bit mode for you. That is selfish and lazy of Logitech. I will not conisder purchasing any other Logitech product until you resolve this.

Re: Harmony Software on OSX Lion (64-bit)

All, I fixed my issue by using my wife's Windows-based laptop, downloading the software, logging in and updating my controller.   Sad times Logitech.  I've been a Harmony remote owner for years but also a die-hard Windows user as long as it has been around.  Thanks to Windows Me and Vista (the straw that broke the camel's back), I Made the switch to Apple a few years back.  I guess the lesson here is it's never too late for your customers to make a change.  I strongly suggest  you fix this issue and get out an update to support the Lion OS users or lose us to a competitor.

Add my name to the list of disgruntled users.

All new Macs are coming out with Lion pre-installed, is Logitech going to ignore this market?!

Please update your Harmony software for Mac OS X Lion. I will be forced to look at other solutions if this doesnt' happen.

Re: Harmony Software on OSX Lion (64-bit)

Was Logitech unaware Lion was coming out? My Logitech mice don't work well with it either.  Now I can't update my expensive Harmony One remote until they fix the software.  Logitech, please consider this my official complaint that you need to fix the app to work with Lion.

Come on, Logitech!  If you want to provide state-of-the-art remotes like the 1100, you have to support the latest OS (Lion.)  What's your business model?  Screw the technophiles?  That won't serve you well!  Maybe you should re-think your position!
