Add me to the list also. My loyalty to Logitech is turning quickly.

I discovered a Work Around using the Harmony Remote Members Website.
Go Here:
http://members.harmonyremote.com/
Login with the id for the specific remote you want to update.
The remote does not have to be connected via USB yet. This will still work if it is though.
After you're logged in click on "Update My Remote" on the main Home page.
On the next page, DO NOT click the "Next" button just yet.
Launch the Harmony Software installed on you Mac.
IMMEDIATELY click on the "Next" button before the app crashes.
If the Remote Software Beach Balls go back to the previous page on your browser.
Force-Quit the software, run the Harmony Remote software again and click the "Next" button on the website right away.
A Connectivity.EZHex file will download each time you do this, just trash the file when you're done.
Works for me every time and I have successfully updated my Remote One.
I was using Safari browser each time. Works with Firefox as well.
I think what's happening here is, the browser is making the connection to the net that the installed Harmony Remote Software is trying to do but crashes before it's able. Even after I have successfully connected numerous times now the remote software still crashes on it's own. I have to connect through a browser first. I have spoken to level three support and I am confident they will have a fix for this soon. I was told they are working on a new version of the software that will use your browser as well. Until then use this work around.
Good Luck,
Ed

Add me to the Lion list. This is the ONLY software that doesn't work on my laptop.... this will be the last Logitech product I buy for my family.

You have to be joking. If this is in fact true...I will be taking my Harmony 1100 that I purchased today and it cannot be recognized by Logitech software on my MacBook Pro. I am replacing a Harmony One that I've used for a year or so with no problems. I will use that in another part of the house. Sounds like Logitech is going south (down the tubes) if that is their attitude.

Also really annoyed about this. Not good enough for a premium product. Just received my Harmony 900 and for it not to work out of the box really sours the experience.

Wow - what awful software. What sort of stupid idea is creating a new ethernet adapter with a higher priority than the existing connections thus killing my ability to route traffic to the outside world? That would leave some users completely screwed.

Add me to the list of unhappy consumers. Logitech has had plenty of time to address this issue.
Maybe we're too small of a market segment for them to spend resources on...Selling Solar Mac keyboards is easy. Writing good software is hard.

If Logitech won't acknowledge 8 pages of responses, I think it's time to kick it up a notch.
I highly encourage everyone to post this thread to their Facebook, Google+, Blogs, and other social sites to bring attention to the issue.
Shipping products listed as Mac compatible, and then refusing to update to the current (shipping) OS, is false advertising.

Hello,
I am sorry to hear of the issues that you are all having with using your Harmony Remotes with the Lion OS.
Logitech does understand your frustration and our Product specialists are working on a more permanent solution for this.
Right now a work around you can do is to put your remote into safe mode and then connect it.
See if this works for you and if not please reply back and let me know what message you are getting and what you are trying to do.
Thank you
Cat
