Hi, just bought the Harmony one. My devices are Virgin media box, amp and blu ray player. I can control all devices properly when i select the device on the harmony.

I then set up my activities. "watch tv" turns on the virgin box, amp and tv on. "Watch a dvd" turns on tv, amp and blu ray player, all working well for the first day but now when i choose watch tv, the tv comes on as does the amp but the Virgin box does not. If i hit help it asks me if the virgin box is off (like it knows that it is off), i say yes and it turns it on.

Here is what I think is happening. If i am watching a blu ray disk and decide to watch tv by pressing teh watch tv activity the remote power toggles the virgin box which was already on to off. IE, unless i have the virgin box off as a switch to watch tv it toggles it from on to off. This doesn't make sense, why would i need to have the virgin box off when watching a blu ray, what if im recording something

Is there a setting somewhere or is this a flaw in the software? Any help appreciated.

If Help fixes the problem if the box is not turning on, Increase the Inter Device Delay of the Cablebox by 500 if still it doesnt turn on

You can set your Virgin Box to be always On, so that even if your watching DVD or doing other Activities it will not turn off. 

The Harmony Remote will not send any Power Command to the box if it is set to be always on
