Thanks, Within the same discussion group. There a part about rebooting in 32 bit mode... Tomorrow when I download the new software... Just download within LION at 64 bit? Or are there other issues? Thanks again.

Running the beta on a MacBook Pro 15" Early 2008 version with OSX 10.7.3. In Network - did not recognize the Logitech remote that I created as per previous version instructions here in the Forums. Did not connect to the remote at first, but after unplugging and replugging the USB cable - then restarting the software it connected via en3 in Network. Downloading new firmware and making some test changes to setting all seem ok so far.

Still having the problem.

UPDATE: 

- Net-Interface is en6

- I am able to successfully ping the remote (192.168.142.2)

-> No connection at all (firmware and config) possible, it never finds the remote.

Remote:

H1100eu

System:

iMac running OS 10.7.3

System is set to (Swiss)German .. maybe there's an error but I doubt it .. 

I'm running out of ideas what else to check.

I'm running a Mac OS X Version 10.7.3 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7.  I just installed the 7.8.0.Beta in order to use my update new Harmony 900.

The software does not function.  The Harmony 900 does create the Ethernet connection after being connected via USB, but the software never detects the remote.

The software still needs work.

As is, the Harmony 900 is unusable.  This is a disappointing waste of several hundred dollars, Logitech!

This  update doesn't work at all.

please fix the issue quickly otherwise the remote is useless

Yes this Beta release is for fixing the 64bit mode issue. I am copying the original message with the link to software here again.

We continue to work toward Harmony software compatibility for Harmony 900, 1000 and 1100 customers who use 64-bit Mac OS X. Starting today, we have opened a public BETA program to continue testing the user experience and compatibility.

Over the coming weeks we will evaluate customer feedback and plan to release a final version of the software to our customers.

If you uncover any issues as you test this BETA software release, log the details in the forums for our developers to review. Please include your Mac Hardware (MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac etc), Operating System versions (10.6.8, 10.7.3 etc) and Harmony Model number (H900, H1100 etc) to help us debug. The BETA software USB connection might not reliably be detected by the software on first connection, so try unplugging and replugging. If this does not resolve the issue, please ensure to leave your feedback below.
