I love my Harmony ONE. It's worked exactly how I wanted it to, until this week... when I replace my Sharp LCD with a new Dynex DX-40L150A11.
I have the following components connected to the TV:
TiVo HD on HDMI 1
PS3 (with Harmony Adaptor) on HDMI 2
Xbox 360 on HDMI 3
Wii on Component 1
Optical output to Insignia NS-R5101HD Receiver
After having some problems with input switching on the TV when changing activities (when cycling from HDMI2 back around to HDMI1, it would stop at HDMI4...one short), I checked around online (including these forums) and tried the suggestion of using input selection method 3 (one button to select the input, another button to cycle, and a third to select). I adjusted the software to match the input menu and tested.
The input menu is laid out as follows:
TV
AV1
AV2
Component1
Component2
VGA
HDMI1
HDMI2
HDMI3
HDMI4
Those the method is slow, it works... except for when switching between Play PS3 and Watch TV. About halfway through cycling from HDMI 2 to HDMI 1, the remote runs the PS3 shutdown macro. After that, it tries to continue to select HDMI 1... but always comes up short and lands on VGA. Switching from other activities doesn't have this result.
No matter the methods I try, I always end up coming up one input short when switching from HDMI 2 to HDMI1.
Does anyone have any suggestions I can try?

Hi hleumas,
Usually when we see this type of issue where during the loop back from the last input (HDMI4 in your case) back to TV at the top and it lags behind it's due to the TV trying to search for a signal on Antennea.
The fix is to increase the Input Delay to a higher value to accommodate this delay in last to first input. This also has a side effect of making every switch between inputs longer.
Another solution is to include some instructions to also move up and not just down the list if you TV supports this. Some work with the Direction Up & Down commands and not just the same Input button over & over. However; this can only be done by Support.
The last one is to throw in some 'Dummy' inputs at the end of the list, which then send that extra command that is always missed.
Hope that help,
DaneHarmony

Hey DaneHarmony,
I'm having the same problem that hleumas was having last summer. It seems to me like the database believes that this TV only has 3 HDMI inputs as there are "button" controls for "hdmi1", "hdmi2", and "hdmi3" but none for the fourth HDMI port. When I originally set up the device, it worked fine, but it was always setting the input to HDMI-4 while changing from PS3 (set to HDMI-2) to Watch TV (set to HDMI-1). In an effort to fix this, i switched it to the menu style of input selection where it launches the menu, scrolls to the correct input, and selects it and now I'm having this same issue where it only scrolls about halfway through (AV-1 in my case) before the PS3-Off macro takes over the show.
I'm wondering how I would change the order of events when switching between those so that it shuts the PS3 off before turning on the cable box and switching the TV input? If not...would I just call support to have them adjust my menu so that it can move up and down?
Thanks,
nkilburne

just a suggestion, if you are directing your post to one particular person, you may want to send it as a PM.
