I just bought a LG LK450 lcd tv.  I added the device to my Logitech harmony 880.  The remote will not turn the TV on.  I tried to do the IR thing too.  Nothing worked.  Any ideas?

You may have to check that you added the correct model number of you LG TV.

Also make sure that the original remote, still working with your TV.

If your original remote is not controlling your TV, you may try teaching the Logitech Harmony Remote any command from the original TV remote. If the Logitech Harmony remote was able to learn a command from the original remote, i.e., "Key Detected" is displayed on Learn IR Window of the Logitech Harmony Remote Software during the learning process, then there might be a hardware problem with you TV set itself. Please contact the TV manufacturer, then, if that would be the case.
