This is just a rant, honestly. We have used Harmony remotes for a long time, mostly successfully. We used to program it on a windows PC and it worked ok. Over the last two years we have switched over to using Macs in our house. I haven't programmed our Harmony remote since that time, and just tried to program it this morning on a Mac. I just wasted 1.5 hours with the *very* frustrating OSX harmony client software, to no success. SO FRUSTRATING.
The problems started right away - every time i pressed a "next" button, it would take 15-20 sometimes 30 seconds to go to the next screen. What the heck? I had the client timeout several times, and have to retry. I had to relogin in a number of times, due to "Session time out"... I could never get the client to successfully "add" my 4 devices - it would time out every time.
I just read some stuff on these forums - lots of people complaining about OSX support - but I'm not on the newest version of OSX. I am still on 10.6! I also read some things from customer support saying that Logitech's servers are overloaded, and this causes things to be very slow. Whatever the cause - please get it fixed! (and if it's your servers being overloaded, get that addressed - servers are cheap.)
This is very very annoying, and disappointing for a brand that used to be high quality.

I can´t agree more! Horrible piece of Software!!!
- more time outs than successful software launches
- HTTP 1.1 errors (a lot)
- Waiting time or software crash, sometimes you can't tell it
- vital functions are missing
So one and so one....
Maybe the hardware is good but the software you need to run the hardware is one of the worst i ever used! And that is not only the new online version, the old one is horrible too!
Sad, but true!!

Just want to add - my frustration is that i spent 1.5 hours of a sunday morning - sorry - WASTED 1.5 hours of a sunday morning, trying to make the update work. My free time is pretty important - to me - and it's pretty annoying to have it wasted like this.
And no word from Logitech on the user forum about these problems? Do they value their users? Communicating to us about the problems and the plan to resolve them would help a lot.

I can only agreed with the above posts. It's WAAAY to slow! I've got two Touches and was planning on getting another but will not until this speed issues is sorted.
