This is my problem. After the receiver goes into standby from updating at nite my 520 remote will not power on the dish receiver.
Can some help me? The remote does control everything but the power from standby.

Add Power On then, possibly a couple of them until it starts working. OK usually wake up Dish recievers. Apparrent it doesn't work on yours. If you don't have "Power On", you can learn it from your Dish remote. See "Discrete On" in the Dish instructions for your receiver. If you can't figure it out, replace your 222 profile with the Hopper profile. All the codes are the same, and I know for sure the Hopper profile has working discrete commands.
Alternately, just press the Off button on your remote when you go to bed, or before watching Dish the next day. That way harmony's power state tracking will stay in sync with the actual state of your devices.

Ok ..I finally goot it for me it works anyway. This is how I got the remote and reciever to work.
First in harmony software I have the PVR set to stay on, this is so the thing will update.
Second power toggle is set making sure the dish remote is set to discrete power on.
Now before I press Watch TV I go to devices PVR power toggle then back to Activities press watch TV
and it all works for me Thanks for the help.

Any Dish receiver will get its updates while powered off there is no need to set it to stay on
