As a start, give us a single account to manage multiple devices.
Next, give us a non-wizard based set-up method that works offline.
Next, stop using tiny radio buttons.
Next, stop making default commands you can't turn off (e.g. set cable box to video)
Next, make an effective way to "swap" a component out, such as a TV.
Next, make Mac software that doesn't litter the home directory with crap (learn to use folders).
Next, make remote software smarter about what equipment needs to be updated after changes (e.g. I know my RF extenders don't need to be updated when I simply change the order of soft commands, and yet I have to anyway).

How about giving us a version that doesn't need you frickin' database to be online. If I don't need to add devices or commands there is NO reason why I shouldn't be able to modify other settings when your system is down.
Also, your system goes down with no advance notice, you give no information regarding the length of the down period... really professional. Not.
Edit: and now... LOL I find out that the "program" one is supposed to use caches pages. So the system went back to working and the "program" was still telling me that the system was down.
What a joke.

I totally agree with Nixreg.
The Wizard is ok for simple setups but at least give us the option to really setup our remotes as we want.
The worst bit is my old 880 works great with its old program but i cant install that same program into my new 1100i. Starting from scratch I can live with but the wizard just keeps trying to be too clever I have just spent most of my night trying to remove commands that are not needed and were never asked for in the setup.
I really love the Harmony remotes but to set them up for friends and family is a chore trying to fight with the wizard to make them do what i want.

I just got my first Harmony remote last week and love it, but the software, ugh. It's horrible and it needs to work without the stupid database being online. At a minimum, it should have MY configured devices and activities data downloaded locally so you can at least make modifications to the existing set up regardless of internet connection. I just submitted a new thread (before seeing this one) with suggestions for improvment.
Does an API exist for the Harmony One so those of us that may be software developers can writer our own UI that's actually fast and streamlined? I just can't believe how bad the included software is for such a great hardware product.

I specifically searched for this issue because I realized what a pain it is. I recently got another remote for my house and realized then this issue of having to create another account just to configure it???? Seems like a back-**bleep**-ward design.
It annoys me so much that I'm thinking of trying alternatives. Just don't get it.

I just bought a second remote for the house and I can't believe that I have to create a separate user account to manage another remote. As others mentioned, there should be one user account that support mutliple devices.
Sheesh!!
