account no longer working?

Hey everyone I recently purchased a WD TV live plus and went to go add it onto my remote I logged in everything went fine until I tried to update the remote then everything went wrong. first it repeatedly told me it could not connect to the site and to check my anti virus, firewall, usb, etc all of which were not the case after disabling both firewall and anti virus and trying 3 seperate usb ports. so after a reboot I tried to log back in only to see my user name and password are no longer remembered on the software and attempting to log in with my correct password is now apparently NOT my correct password. I then proceeded to answer the security question and change my password and now it is prompting me at the getting started page as if I'm creating a new account and to boot when I get to the 3rd step is says unable to display content and loops me back to the beginning of the whole process. I then tried the deletion of the preferences file and browser-logitech folder fixes both to no avail. I really don't want to have to create a new account and re add all my devices, favorite channels, custom images for said channels and activity's just to add one new device. the remote I'm currently using is the Harmony 700 and the operating system is windows 7 x64 any one have any solutions or ideas as to how I can resolve this?
