Re: differences between software and myharmony

Yes, big difference, you have far more control of your setup usoing the 7.7 software.  The MyHarmony setup cannot be used on the H1, though it can be used on the H1+

Re: differences between software and myharmony

Ok I'll try the 7.7 application, I did find myharmony very user friendly, hope 7.7 is same. BTW, I got a reply from a Logitech rep that claims the H1+ is a European product, not sold in US but Best Buy sent me the H1+, is it worth trying to take back to BB and get an H1, other than setup software are the 2 remotes the same

I can't answer, that as I have never seen a H1+ as it is only supposed to be sold in Europe.

Hello Willt,

The Harmony One + will have a plus on it and will have myharmony.com on the back of it.

The Harmony One + and the Harmony One are the exact same remote.

The only difference is the Harmony One + is sold in Europe.

The Harmony One (for the US and such) is just not advertised to use myharmony.com.

Europe only have the Harmony One +.

We only have the Harmony One.

Re: differences between software and myharmony

So if there is such a big difference and the 7.7 software has more functionality, why do the instructions that come with the remote tell you to go through myharmony?

Thanks.

Re: differences between software and myharmony

If the above post is correct then i have a problem

My harmony does NOT have a + on it

myharmony.com is NOT on the back

Bought it from Bestbuy.com here in US

When programmed through myharmony.com the title page says it is a Harmony One+

Perhaps you don't have a problem and MyHarmony.com cannot tell the difference because 'they are the same', as in CatlogiTechc's response, which after all just says One 'is not advertised'  to use MyHarmony.com.

Re: differences between software and myharmony

You are correct idicev.

It is because when you connect a Harmony One to myharmony.com it will automatically think it is a Harmony One + since that is what we advertise to use myharmony.com.

Usually people prefer the 7.7 software over myharmony.com, but it is all preference and what you want to do.
