Ditto here. I had to open the Market app to get the update.

There have been some definite changes over the last couple of days in the symptoms, but I'm still not having any luck. It doesn't appear that the Market Update process is starting now... even though it says 'updating' again.

Me too. I just keep getting the "Updating..." message. I did get the "Cannot connect to URL" white screen with the logo yesterday (or maybe the day before, I can't remember) but after the next restart I'm back to the frozen update screen when I try to launch the Market.
I will have a play using a cable to my router rather than wireless and post back to let you all know how it goes.

i am having the same problem,so i used google chrome to search for google play,when found ,save to home page.
at least you can use app market[google play] until a working update

The cable made no difference. Hopefully Logitech and/or Google can do something about it soon.

Just turned on my Revue and got an update. The issue may be fixed.
I do have to say that I think it would be better for all (customers and Logitech) if they just open-sourced the Revue.

The tip suggested resetting “Google Account”, that could help to clear the error for instant/overnight update-workaround-fix.
To Reset “Google Account” Tip: Unable to Update from "Market" to "Google Play Store" App - Click here
It may or may not work for every one, but some users in this/googleTV forum have had luck updating after several hours from resetting “Google Account” (w/o much of comments).

- I have experienced the same problem: stuck on updating Market.
- In your "click here" link, it mentioned that the Market update may be available only in the USA
- I am Canadian
- I tried connecting via a US VPN (I used a combination of RaptorVPN and Connectify-me on a Windows 7 machine) to allow me to connect to the VPN using WiFi.
- It worked! Clicking Market resulted in an immediate update to Google Play.

I am still experiencing the same issue. I am in Australia. WIll Logitech fix the issue for customers outside US soon?
billrodman mentioned about VPN to US. Is that VPN owned by Logitech or yourslef?

I ahve the logitech revue and the SONY TV with google tv..
the sony tv upates with zero problems.
its logitechs [word filter evasion] code on the revue.
****just open this crap box up to open source and let us fix it.
