So I finally broke down and took my DCT3416 Comcast DVR to replace it with the newer DVR, the DCX3400. I get it all activated and ready to add it into Revue. Disconnect the old one, and go in to add the new one.
Revue doesn't seem to be able to do anything to identify it, so I select the option to set up manually. I then get the "Network is unavailable" message.
HA! Yea not so much. I can do everything on the Revue that requires internet access. It's cabled in, works fine. Except for this task. If I can watch a YouTube video, the network's far from unavailable.
I've swapped back to wi-fi and back to wired...no dice. Rebooted a couple times, no dice there either. Next up I suppose is factory reset which isn't to great but might be the only option.
Behind the scenes it looks like it's trying to log in.
The Revue is running 3.2 firmware...know folks have had issues with that, not sure on this exact thing though.
For the moment, I just decided to pull the Revue out of production and am wired direct from the cable box to the TV....works, if not idea.
So other than it being an issue on the Logitech side....anyone seeing this and have a solution?
Thanks.

Same problem here.
I opened a case 3 days ago with Logitech Revue and they said they are still waiting on a response from engineer.
Testing my patience!

Awesome, at least I am not the only one. ![]()
A very annoying issue for sure. I didn't want to bypass the box but don't have a lot of choice at the moment.

I am having the same issue. Just got a new TV today and I can't remove the old one so that I can add a new one. Everything else still works - I just can't control the TV with my keyboard. I keep getting a Network Unavailable error even though the Revue is connected to the internet and other internet apps work just fine.

Ditto. Others seem to have snooped on the WiFi packets and identified that the Revue needs to "phone home" to a Logitech Harmony server to perform operations like add/removing a TV or STB, and that service is not responding to our Revues. It's unclear whether this Logitech service is down or another reason (ie, the server's ignoring the request because it's not aware that 3.2 is a valid Revue firmware version).

Right, I was going to say it was probably related to the Harmony issue I posted about here.
I guess the Revue needs to get IR codes and stuff like that from Logitech and it can no longer reach the server. I can't add any Harmony app-based remotes either, or customize the stock keyboard controller keys.

I'm not able to successfully download the 3.2 update on my Revue. I get a "download failed" message. I've had my Revue for 17 months and I was able to download the previous 3.1 update without any problems.
So what I'm really wondering now is my issue more likely due to Logitech server problems? or perhaps my box has a firmware issue? I'm connected by ethernet directly to modem. Everything else seems to be working fine.
Any suggestions?

I would suggest you do a factory reset and then try updating again... **bleep** that the Revue needs to be factory reset so often but it often helps with updating issues.

I have access to several revue boxes and they all exhibit the same issue of "network unavailable". Looks to me like a Logitech issue and considering the state of the state at Logitech with regard to this product, it may never be resolved. Unfortunate that a true manual way of adding to or changing the setup of the box could not be accomplished without communications with a server when the server is not available . . .
