Revue and Accessories

I would like to add to this the things I have tried.

• I tried updating via the market and via "my apps".
• I tried installing the .apk directly (saving it from another device)
• I tried resetting my Revue
• I tried adding a second Google account and installing it from there
• I tried rebooting many times with the same results

Each time I'm able to download the update but the install fails.

I set my network configuration to static IP and set my DNS as 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.  Did a CTRL-ALT-DEL and tried to install via Featured Apps and still no go.

Cat, I've PM'd you my preexisting case number.

Same issue here, can't update YouTube or TV & Movies.  I've tried everything even a factory reset.

If you have tried everything in this thread please contact our Revue Support team so that they can look into this further for you.

I contacted support today and looks like this is still being looked into.  I am seeing this with Photos, NBA TV, and Youtube.

I tell you, not having root access to this device makes me feel crippled as I know I could fix this myself.

When it says update of "YouTube for Google TV" unsuccessful turnoff your device and then try to update again! For me it works!

You mean unplug the Revue?

Yes ,If First time doesn't work, try two three times!!

I've done everything mentioned in this thread with no luck. This is way too much work just to update one app here Logitech. FIX IT!

You know I think the problem is that the new version is trying to delete off the old version (or overwrite it) but since the old version is in an "read only" directory its not being allowed permission. This I suspect is where the problem lies.
