I totally agree. This whole issue seems to be one already dragged out finger pointing fest between Logitech and Google with neither side trying to actually resolve anything. Oh and the kicker is the tech telling me to use the Chrome browser for anything such as YouTube and market - because we all know how great using YouTube on an web browser on an HDTV with the Revue keyboard is, right?

At this point if Logitech isn't willing to get an fix out for this in an timely fashion then I feel that an refund program should be started. To me this device right now is defective and not working as advertised.

You know it just occured to me. The Sony GTV device is running 3.2 and as far as I know they aren't having these update problems like we are. Is it possible that because the Revue is still running 3.1 that these updated apps aren't designed to be used with 3.1 and are really meant to be running on 3.2?

The updates are working on some Revues.  I do not believe it is an OS level problem.

That is true. My second Revue did update everything properly. It was an random thought of it potentially being an OS level issue. I do feel that Logitech needs to step their game up on fixing this issue properly instead of telling people to wait for it to MAYBE fix itself. My main Revue has been stuck with this issue for several weeks now. That's far too long for this to have not been fixed yet especially when its as big of a company as Logitech let alone a product that's using Google/Android software.

In other words fix it Logitech or give me a refund for my now defective Revue.

Both my main Revue which isn't updating and my secondary one which IS updating are both running the same firmware.

Hmm... so we're all running the same firmware. Seeing that my secondary Revue updated with no issue that eliminates the firmware being the issue.

I think I know what the issue is....

Main Revue that's not updating = /system/apps is set to read only.

Secondary Revue that is updating = /system/apps is set to read/write.

In other words the /system/apps folder being set to read only is more then likely the issue.
