For the 30 second skip I mapped the "x" key to do the job. That way you can press the FN+x keys with one hand (finger) eliminating the need to use both hands. I use it all the time.

Re: FAQs, How-to Videos, Tips & Tricks Blog

If you want to watch netflix videos online, use the netflix app, not the netflix web site.  The web site online streaming does not (yet) support a Google TV-compatible streaming format, but the Netflix app running on Google TV does.  It is pain to have to switch back and forth (web to select a video, netflix app to view it), but that is what currently works.

I have use the Netflix app and it works properly.

Does anyone know how to change the input on your television with the remote?  Or make the default "TV" button switch to the proper input?

Hold down the function key then press the TV button

IF you do not have Direct Input commands for your TV you will have to hit it multiple time like you would on your original remote

You can buy PrimeDTV PHD-8VX tuner / receiver and connect your OTA anntena to it. This device has HDMI out and I just successfully paired it to Revue.

Re: FAQs, How-to Videos, Tips & Tricks Blog

Have high speed internet service from local provider, however, dropped the cable tv service.  I have an antenna tied into my coaxial cable within the house to view local vhf/uhf programming only on the tv.  Uncertain how to use the Revue without a satellite box or cable box!  Also, since my Dell desktop is in another room, will I need to setup a wireless router, such as a Linksys 2.4 GHz Wireless-G broadband router?

Very new to this so any help pointing me in the right direction, greatly appreciated!

Re: FAQs, How-to Videos, Tips & Tricks Blog

Your best bet would be to get a DVD Recorder with a QAM tuner and HDMI output that way your cable TV can be viewed on the Revue.

Also you would be better of with a 2.4Mhz N spec'ed router

If you are using a DISH DVR, I have a better option for you.  While fooling around in the settings, I found you can swap the fast forward and skip buttons.

Settings->TV Source -> Click on Dish DVR -> Dish Network Settings

The first two check boxes swap FF and RW keys.

Not sure if there is something like this for a DirectTV Source.

Dobs

You also want to do that with your Page Up/Down and Channel Up/Down

The Direction Up/Down Keys also control the Channel Up/Down with Dish
