Frame rate issues

Hooked up the Revue last night.  I noticed while watching the baseball game last night that the motion isn't as fluid.  It's as if there is a frame rate issue.  Anyone else notice this?

Re: Frame rate issues

YES!  I was watching the baseball game as well as a basketball game and noticed the frame rates were off.  Also, the picture just looked a bit different.  Definitely a problem here.

Great, then I am not going crazy.  By default, the device is setup on resolution AUTO, the picture was fuzzy so I changed it to force 1080i.  When I did this, the picture cleared up a bit, but was still not "quite right" and definitely skips frames.  It's a deal breaker for me - if there is not some fix ASAP, it's going back to Best Buy this weekend.

Re: Frame rate issues

Well the TV I'm currently using is 60hz, so any lost of frames would be noticable, especially in sports.  If you have a 120 or 240hz set, it's probably not as noticable.

Re: Frame rate issues

I have a 120hz TV and it's failrly noticiable.  I watch a lot of football, I'm anxious to see what it may look like this sunday.

Hi rjbaran17,

Thanks for the reply. What is the brand and model number for your set-top box?

Regards,

Omar
