I still cannot upgrade to google play (also, there is a utube update that won't complete successfully as well). My firmware version is 3.1, build no. KA2X-20111123.091818.user-b61925.

From the SoCal / USA. Build KA2X-20111123.091818.user-b61925 and I'm stuck. I've tried factory reseting, sideloading, installing OTA, different internet connections, connection via ethernet, factory resetting without restore, and just about anything else you can think of. Wish I had market access back. This is horrible. Is there any official word from logitech other than "watch this thread"? How long are we supposed to wait?!?!?
Edit: Add adb installs to the list of things that fail.
C:\Users\**********>adb install -r com.android.vending.apk
545 KB/s (3784499 bytes in 6.770s)
pkg: /data/local/tmp/com.android.vending.apk
Failure [INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_INCONSISTENT_CERTIFICATES]
This error usually happens when apps have been signed using a different certificate than the previous version of the app.
After further research (you can thank me for doing your job later) it seems as though two versions of of this build exist.
one version that was released first and sent to some units
http://android.clients.google.com/packages/ota/log
and then a second version that was sent to most units:
I'm guessing the changes were signing the market apk with the production certificate. The only problem I have now is theres no way to get into recovery to install the second version.

I had one Revue update and one that wouldn't, over the weekend I removed my Google acount following the link in one of the other threads from the one that wouldn't and then added the account back and it updated fine.

I too have the 595554bcc67a.mp-signed-ota_update-b61925_relapks firmware. it is the latest one out that I can find. does US have a diffrent firmware?
reset does not work and neither does download apk and trying to install. I have tried the dropbox method, I have tried usb drive method, download thru the chrome browser and network drive install. None of them work! I would go back to 1b3a6b1aa9fd.mp-signed-ota_update-b55579 however that is a glitchy build and does not do what we need. This is a pain in the but, since market does not work at all, and will not update. I have to use slideme or amazon, which does not have all the apks I am looking for.

"I have to use slideme or Amazon, which does not have all the apks I am looking for."
You can also still log in to https://play.google.com/store and send the desired apps to your Review device.
This will get you whatever applications are compatable with your Revue. The exceptions are the pre-installed system applications such as "Google Play for Google TV", "TV & Movies for Google TV" and "YouTube for Google TV" -- these will fail during the install process.

I rented a movie from Google Play Store because they claimed that I would be able to watch the movie on Google TV. However I wasn't able to play my rental movies on my Revue by any means. I tried the following:
1) TV and Movies app: I was hoping to see a 'Rental' or 'Purchased' tab, but there was none.
2) YouTube app: Again no "Purchased" or "Rental' tabs
3) Launching youtube from Chrome on the Revue. I do see the 'purchased' link and also the movie I rented, but when I try to play it it says that the browser is not compatible.
Very very frustrating. Any ideas if/when we can watch our 'Google' rentals on 'Google' TV please? (Really can't believe google renta;s are not supported yet on google tv!!!! Is this where the company is headed to?
Please help if you have ideas. Thanks a lot!
