You can use the developer tools on production revues without root.
If an app says it has an update available but never updates, you can try to uninstall/reinstall the app.

The problem is that when I click on the "Update Available" notification, no apps are shown as pending an update, so I wouldn't know which one to uninstall. ![]()

I would try to remove the Google Account and sign back in. If you clear the update notification does it come back?

It comes back after a few hours or overnight. I have two Revues in different locations (different ISP, network, etc.) and they both do the same thing.
How do I remove the Google account?
Thanks!

Still nothing from logitech. I posted on their facebook page and after a couple trys I was able to get a response. All they did was tell me to submit a support ticket. So I did and about a week or so went by until they sent me the default problem questionaire. (Yes it is plugged in...) I answered all the questions but I doubt they'll do anything but send me a new unit. It's ridiculous that we need to go through all this when the issue could be fixed in minutes without a neutered recovery.

For whatever reason, my Revue updated after a reboot last week, and my Google Play, YouTube, and Movies and TV apps are all working great. It's still odd we haven't heard anything, but something out on the Interwebs is changing...

I've tried many of the tips on this forum, trying to get my Market to update to Play. I finally tried connecting to the hot spot on my Sprint phone, and when I clicked on Market, it updated to Play.
I then tried connecting to my home network, and Google Play would not work.
It seems that the firewall of my Comcast supplied Motorola SBG900 was blocking Market.
I hooked up my old Linksys WRT54G to the SBG900, with a DMZ bypassing the firewall and connected the Revue to it.
I still have the firewall active in the WRT54G, but Google Play works with it.

Same problem here. If the issue is really 2 OTA updates with the same version #, would installing the correct one via sideloading work? This is really frustrating.
