Re: Has your Logitech Revue been updated?

The update suck anyway...Im trying to figure our how to revert back. All of the cool apps that were preinstall are now gone and they are not in the market...The Google search no longer works.

The layout **bleep**....im trying to figure out how to revert back to the previous version.

The Logitech Revue didn't have that many apps to begin with.

You might have mistaken the items in the Spotlight app for "cool apps". They're actually just weblinks fed from Google's RSS server for Google TV.  These websites that have been optimized for TV. This app is still available GTV Home > All Apps > Spotlight.

Re: Has your Logitech Revue been updated?

BBoykin- I think you are mistaking where the apps are. The pre-installed like Crackel,HBO-Go etc are as Ef has said they are in Spotlight- all the other apps (close to 100" can be found in Marketplace for downloading. There should be a "Spotlight" app preloaded and will show up when you first enter "All Apps"

Re: Has your Logitech Revue been updated?

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but my Revue that I bought used is stuck at 2.1-update1.

I have tried doing a factory reset, goes to the Google TV logo with download bar but after a while it just goes back to 2.1, and when I do a check from within Android it tells me I'm up to date.

Re: Has your Logitech Revue been updated?

My advice is DON'T UPDATE! The Revue was great before the update, well worth the 250 I paid for it. After the update, it's not even worth the 99 dollars they have been going for recently. The update makes everything more complicated, and none of the features work properly. It is like they intentionally put unnecessary restrictions on an otherwise great product.

Re: Has your Logitech Revue been updated?

"It is a pleasure to announce you that yesterday (June 4th) a new firmware version was released (Honeycomb 3.2) for the Revue. This update solves a great number of issues the operating system had. This update will be released automatically to all consoles starting today and finishing on June the 7th. "

This was on my recent ticket to Logitech support regarding my Revue Netflix issues.
