Does no reply mean nobody else is having this issue?

This is a User to User Forum. Logitech employees do respond sometimes, but you may get better results trying to call or email them.

Yes I had that happen one day. I got a pop-up of "your time is incorrect", something like that anyway. Went to settings and filled in correct time, then set it at automatic and it has been correct ever since.

Thanks for the replies.
I don't think this is a major problem but it really is annoying.
This trick used to work for me too but not anymore. it shows "incorrect date/time" message and after some time, which could be several hours, it gets corrected by itself. I do not leave the device always on, so entering the date/time manually everytime I turn it on is not the best solution for this problem I think. I wonder if it can be ISP related issue.

Hello Giorgi,
Do certainly understand that this pop up to set time/date keeps popping up is very annoying.
Can I get you to do the following :
1, When that error message pop up, uncheck the option that says "Automatic"
2, Set the Correct time/date/month/year/location
3, Press the Home button
4, Go to Google Chrome and browse any sites to make sure that the internet is working.
5, Press the Home button
6, Press the Menu button (Button with the four lines)
7, Go to System Settings>Time, date and location
8, Enable the Automatic option
9, Reboot the Revue (ctlr+alt+del)
That should resolve the problems that you are running into.
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks Kiruban for your answer!
I have tried the method you've described, it corrects the problem when the device is on, but if it's turned off and I turn it on, the same thing happens. I have to note, that even though the message about incorrect date pops up, sometimes it gets corrected by itself without my intervention, which makes me think the problem can be either with my ISP or the time server.

Hello Giorgi,
You are running into this glitch since the device has lost its network connection and is not able to re-sync with the network.
Have you attempted to do the following :
a, Go to your network and forget your own network. (If you have an ethernet cable) remove it after you forget your network
b, Reboot your Revue(CTRL+ALT+DEL)
c, If you get the pop up, perform the steps provided by Kiruban
d, Reconnect to your network by Going to Settings>Network> and re-connect to your network
Note : If you are connecting via ethernet, re-plug the network cable into the revue after you reboot or you might run into further problems.
Hope this should fix it. If it does not then you might have to perform a Factory Reset.

Hello BeastCompany,
Thank you for your advices. However, the problem is still there. You say "You are running into this glitch since the device has lost its network connection", but would I be able to surf the web and do staff if that was true? I think not. Anyway, I still followed all of your instructions and it temporarily fixed my problem, like it always did and again I have this incorrect date/time message popping up on my screen after I turn the device on and I am manually setting the date/time value, if after some time it does not get fixed automatically.
Regards

Hello Giorgi,
The time feature on the revue is the one that's loosing its network connectivity. Its like a computer basically. You will have everything functioning properly but the time on the computer will be way off. Rebooting the computer fixes it sometimes and the other times, you will have to manually re-sync the time.
The revue is behaving in the same fashion. Since the above steps are not resolving your concern, the only other solution to fix this problem is to perform a Factory Reset on the Revue and start all over again.
Note : You will loose any an all book marks that you have saved, If you have any favorites sites on the homepage, they will get removed as well along with the apps. If you think you will have a hard time finding them, I would recommend that you write it down somewhere so you can create them once again after setting up your revue.
To Perform a Factory Reset, Press and hold onto the Small Black button until you see a Google TV with an UPSIDE down arrow.
Follow the instructions on the screen and setup your Revue once again. If you do run into any problems, let me know and I will try to assist or you can call into your Local support Center and they would be more than happy to assist you.
