Revue and Accessories

I have a problem that shows up every few weeks of large green lines going through any video I try to watch. It's so bad you can't make out any of the picture. The only way I can figure out how to fix it is to unplug the power from the Revue and plug it back in. Then it's fine for a few weeks and then it starts all over again. Does anybody know why this is happening and how it can be fixed? Thanks for your help and time!

I'm experiencing the same, i always had to reset <ctrl><Alt><DEL> to get rid of those lines, would realy want to know how to fix it.

Well, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one then. I wonder if everyone is getting it or only people with certain equipment like the same stereo receiver, etc. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update!

Sounds like an HDCP issue what are the makes of you all STB?

Oh, no. I was affraid of that. It doesn't happen when I watch my DVR, it only happens when I watch embedded videos on websites, so I don't see how it could have anything to do with my STB because I'm not using my STB when it happens.  Here is my equipment.

Pioneer VSX-1019AH Stereo Reciever

Panasonic TH-42PZ700U TV

Motorola VIP1225 DVR

Please share a link of a site you regularly have this problem with, I watch non-stb based videos all the time on my revue with a Sharp Aquos TV and have never seen this problem.

OK, I also want to say that the green lines don't go on the whole tv screen, you only see them on the video movie part. of the screen.  Here is one of the websites I have this problem on, but like I said it' only happens once in a while. I watch videos on this website every day, but it happens maybe once a month or every few weeks.  Thanks!

Based on this latest update, is sounds like a problem with the stream, not with the revue.  Sometimes encoding and transcoding doesn't happen correctly, sometimes the provider has bandwidth issues.
