Re: Logitech Keyboard Controller for Logitech Revue and Google TV - pc compatibility?

Hi liunw,

The Keyboard Controller that comes with the Revue does not come with a Unifying receiver, as the Unifying receiver is built into the Revue.

If you purchase the Mini Controller, or the Keyboard Controller: a Unifying receiver is included.

Regards,

Mark

Re: Logitech Keyboard Controller for Logitech Revue and Google TV - pc compatibility?

Hi Mark,

"The keyboard controller will still be paired whatever device it was paired to last". Is it possible to switch back and forth so I can use one keyboard controller to control both PC and Revue? They are indeed close to each other but do not have to be turned on at the same time. Given the fact that Revue is running on Android, and there is no setPoint software for that platform, if the keyboard controller is instructed to pair to the unifying receiver that is plugged in the PC, how does it get back to Revue, even the PC is shutdown? Will this mess the Revue up? Thanks!

As long as the PC is off the controlling the Revue would be fine.  However the Revue does not Power on/off so you would have PC control issues

Re: Logitech Revue keybord - pc compatibility? -- Unifying reciever unavailable?

As far as I can see from the Logitech site, there is no way to order the unifying receiver unless one gets in addition an approved unifying mouse or keyboard. see: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/349/6126?pcid=6072 at $30 or more., and the Keyboard/Trackball that the Revue uses does not, even if a second one was purchased, include the receiver, or allow it to be included at a low cost. 1) I'd suggest that Logitech make a receiver available as a special order, inexpensive product, and perhaps include it, or allow it to be an add on for the Revue keyboard. 2) A I understand it, if I do get the Receiver, the Revue keybard is not supported, but works with a PS, "Windows XP"?, but when I move it form my TV ROOM to my PC room I need it to be close to the device I want to control, have that device turned on, and Turn off the Keyboard and back on? to re-pair it with the right device, PC or Revue? RIGHR???

Hello Steve261,

This would be a question to post in the Keyboard and mouse boards.

It isn't even necessary.  All your different input devices can be used at the same time.  The computer doesn't care where it gets its input data from.  You should actually see how fast a mouse pointer will move when you have two USB mice moving in the same direciton while connected to the same computer.
