Revue and Accessories

Hi all

I would like to develop applications to make videoconference like logitech vid makes using the same hardware: logitech revue and Logitech TV Cam. I have been searching for information but I didn't find anything. Basically I would like to make an application for Logitech Revue Users which makes videocalls.

Is it possible?

Hello paserrano,

The Revue uses the Android operating system. This means that Google Play (formerly Google Market Place) manages app developers. If you are interested in developing an app for the Revue please contact Google play, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Google has a developer's page for Google TV apps, but they have stated that they will not support video conferencing and it is up to the hardware developers to come up with their own. I know people were trying to get this to work in the past, but nothing panned out.
