Hello Jacob,
I understand you are having a problem connecting to the Internet on your Revue.
Try power cycling your Router/Modem:
disconnect the power for 1 minute and reconnect, once your internet is back up and running try connecting again.
If the revue has been previously setup and updated to Android 3.1 you will have the option to try connecting via static IP which I would suggest you can try.
Please advise if you continue to have issues

Hey Jacob,
You are running into this issue because the Revue is not able to obtain an ip address from your network. If you are running into problems, the only way to get it connected would be to setup an static ip.
Perform the following steps to resolve this issue.
If you are connecting via wireless, Unplug the Wireless Router/Modem and let it sit for 1 - 2 mins and then plug it back in.
If you are connecting via an ethernet, Unplug the ethernet cable from both Router/Modem and the Revue and then Power cycle it.
Once you Power cycle the Router/Modem, do the following :
a, Reboot the Revue (ctrl+alt+del)
b, Once the revue reboots, go back to step #3 by pressing the back button (the button that has an arrow facing left)
c, Maximize the screen once again.
Note, If you are connecting via wireless, fine...If connecting via ethernet Plug the ethernet cable into the revue now.
d, It will ask you how you choose to connect, select either one and select your network
Important : Do not click on connect at this point
Leave the revue alone at this point and go to your computer / Laptop
i, Windows xp = Start > Run (Win Vista, Win 7 = Start >Search) As soon as you click on start, you should see a box, type the following in there for vista and 7.
ii, type CMD and press enter
iii, a black color window will come up
iv, type cd and leave a space and type \ ( it should look like this -> cd \)and then press enter
v, type ipconfig and press enter
vi, If you have win xp, look for ip address and write it down
vii, look for Default Gateway and write it down
If you are running Win Vista, 7...Look for ipv4 Address/Default Gateway and write it down both the numbers.
Once you have both the Numbers down, return back to your Revue
e, If you have a Password for your network, enter it in
f, You should see something that says "IP Settings : DHCP"
g, Select DHCP and change that to Static
h, Now for the ip address for example if you have 192.168.1.15...(change the 15 to 25) and press the down arrow
i, Enter the default gateway as is (if you have 192.168.1.2) enter the same numbers and press the down arrow
j, Enter the same number again for Prefix (24) and press the down arrow
k,Enter the Same Number for DNS1 as is and press the down arrow
l, Enter 8.8.4.4 for DNS2 and press the down arrow
m, Select Connect and Press the "OK" button
You should now be able to not only connect to your network but also proceed ahead to Step 5 and above
If you get stuck in step 5, it is your Gmail (e-mail address and password)..yes "PASSWORD" is case sensitive so make sure you are entering it correctly.
Hope performing the above resolves your issue.

Hello Juan7,
I see that you are stuck in step # 4. I can certainly understand that frustration level when you are just not able to get connected to your own network.
It keeps trying to connect to your network and fails since the revue is not able to obtain an IP Address. This usually caused by distance issue (router/modem is too far away from the revue) or the Router/Modem is not able to renew the lease and issue out a new IP Address to your devices.
If it is a lease issue, Get into your router settings and increase the lease period, the default is usually 1 day. If it is a distance issue, try to move the router/modem a little closer to the revue or vice versa.
Try the following :
1, Go upto your Router and Power Cycle it first. (unplug the power to your router/modem or both (modem first and then the router), let it sit for a minute and plug it back in)
2, Reboot the Revue(ctrl+alt+del). This will reboot the revue and bring you back to step # 4.
3, Press the back button and go to step # 3 and maximize the screen once again and proceed to step # 4.
Once you are at Step # 4, it will ask you to connect to your network, You should be able to see your network, click on it and do not click on connect. Once you do that, you should see the options that I had mentioned above (Ip Address (dhcp, static)). Choose Static and follow the steps mentioned above to connect to your network.
If you are not able to see your wireless network, check to see if you see an option that says "Not in list".
Let us know how it goes.

I'm having this very same issue on the unit I just bought.
I can not connect to the internet, although I am getting a connection to my local network, and am obtaining a valid DHCP address on the correct subnet. This is via both ethernet and WiFi connections.
Both my WiFi router and my ethernet switch have multiple other devices on them that recieve DHCP address (and netmask/gateway info) correctly and can access the internet. Just not my Revue.
I've rebooted it, my switch, and my WiFi router multiple times to no avail. As per a different thread I've enabled/disabled the WiFi checkbox, rebooting each time. No dice.
The version of SW on the Revue will not allow me to assign a static IP address. Furthermore, viewing network information only shows me the IP address, not gateway or DNS info, so I have no way to verify it's setting them correctly.
EDIT: Oh, and I've reset the unit to factory defaults as well, and that didn't work eeither. Now I can't get past step 5 where it wants to check for updates, as it can't connect to the internet.
This really feels like it's not correctly accepting a default gateway or DNS server address from the DHCP lease correctly.
Suggestions?
Thanks.
-Steve
