I take it 3d still isn't passed through the revue with 3.1 (when connected to a Directv HD DVR and 3d tv)?

3D media needs an HDMI 1.4 version port. The Revue uses a 1.3a version port.

Re: Official 3.1 Update Feedback Thread

Got my update this morning (yay!)..

So initially all the apps in the market showed as incompatible.  So I disassociated my google account and then re-set it up and now I can get free apps.  But when I try to click "Buy" on a paid app, it just goes back to the app info screen and does nothing.  Free apps work fine however.

When I login to market.android.com via my PC web browser, the device doesn't show up, yet the free apps I've purchased on my Revue via the market do show up in the purchase history.  So they're talking, and it's the right Google account, but it's like the device isn't quite fully registered with the market?  So maybe that's why it won't let me purchase anything that costs.

Support?

Thanks!! Excited for the update.  Just really want to get Plex working on it!

I just got the update this morning, holding my breath hoping that I will get a 'decent' media player finally. To my disappointment, most of the movies that I have still comes out with no sound (DTS).

It is actually very disappointing that it is so hard for Logitech to come up with a decent media player, even if it still won't play from network shared folders.

I paid full price for my revue, with the consideration in my mind that I had been satisfied with logitech products in the past. Mice, keyboard, desktop sets, speakers.

I wished i had bought the sony bluray player instead.........

DTS isn't happening.  We've been bitching about it since the Revue was initially released, and Logitech hasn't listened.  We bitched about it too with the first two Honeycomb leaks.  Logitech still didn't listen.  They're not willing to fork over the money to provide DTS support, and I suspect they really don't care.  The revue is pretty worthless as a media streamer w/o DTS.

There is a media player in the market that will allow you to browse SMB shares.  It's GTVPlayer or something like that.  Still no DTS, but you don't have to use DLNA.

3.1 Revue Vid for all the skeptics. This is from a newly installed unit. I have not received the update for my first Revue that was installed 2 months ago.   http://youtu.be/BRMTUV_Kc4I

This hasn't worked with either of the two previous HC releases.  Also Sony GTV devices do not show up in your online market account.  Google has said this is coming soon which means it'll probably be winter 2014.

Re: Official 3.1 Update Feedback Thread

ah, thanks for letting me know that agfa..  I was hoping to be able to buy it via the website and have it push it since I can't seem to buy apps on the revue..  Maybe if I could acquire the apk somehow..

What about the people that already have the Beta 3.1.  Will it get updated to the official one automatically?

I can confirm that I received the OTA automatically while on the user debug. Logitech and Google can not tell you this will work because it was never an official release and they can't be responsible for troubleshooting any problems associated with it. I understand their logic and appreciate that they did not leave user debug group hanging, even if they can't admit it.

Re: Official 3.1 Update Feedback Thread

I just have to say I'm thrilled with the update, particularly now with Market.  For example I've installed Flixster, IMDB and Evernote all which look fantastic on my 50" plasma.

I'm probably going to order a second one.  You just can't beat this for $100.

Best Buy has the revue plus the webcam for 129 (which is what I bought directly from logitech.com when they had the bundle a week or two ago).

I'm very satisfied and I've only been playing with it a few hours today.

Beats the heck out of my Roku XDS I paid $90 for, which is slow as crud.  We disconnected it after a week of use and it collects dust now.

Re: Official 3.1 Update Feedback Thread

I PM'd you a link to a video from my server. Didn't want to post it in here and get a million people hitting it.

Thanks.

If you could provide a URL that shows choppy Flash video that would be useful.

Thanks
