Re: Here's what worked for me

I agree. the reason that I bought the Revue was to be able to watch movies, surf the internet, listen to Sirius etc. It worked well for all of those things until the upgrade was forced apon it. Now it doesn't work at all for some of those things (Sirius) and has problems for the rest, I would also like my money back. This was not done at my request or by some actiont that I took that made the Revue fail. I really would love it if it got fixed but we seem to be abondoned at this point. Not sure there is anything left for us to do. Logitech, care to comment about the steps we should do to fix this? A rollback would be the best thing at this point since it seems that the hardware isn't capable of supporting this Honeycomb OS. It would be great if Logitech could comment other than "we don't know when". it has been months now.

Re: Here's what worked for me

We are currently in the Beta phase of the 3.2 Honeycomb update with a decent fraction of our Beta test users, as soon as Logitech is satisfied with the liability of the latest release candidate it will be released to public users. I will continue to update this thread as more information becomes available to me. :smileyhappy:

Thanks for the information. How can one sign-up to be a Revue Beta tester?

Re: Here's what worked for me

Hello CatfishRivers,

As far as I'm aware the Beta testers generally have been selected on a case by case basis by the engineers depending on the original issue requiring engineer input, if it was deemed beneficial for the customer to test Beta to try and resolve their issue and the engineer felt they could rely on the customer to relay results and bugs from their testing back to them they would potentially qualify to be a Beta tester.

Re: Here's what worked for me

Has anyone addressed the fact that 3.2 doesn't seem to fix the problem on other platforms such as Sony? What is being done thats different from the 3.2 update that does not fix the streaming issues on their TV (and other issues)?

Thanks.

Re: Here's what worked for me

This is great news! hope to see the update soon. I just wonder if missing codec support is going to be added in the updated 3.2 version of the Honeycomb.

Apparently not.  If there are still issues in 3.2 on other devices I'm sure the ReVue will also suffer the same setbacks.  You can pound Google TV's facebook page.  I haven't seen a post from GTV on my feed in awhile, I wonder if they kicked me off the page.

[Edit] HAHA They did actually kick me off their page for saying that I can't do things with my ReVue that they were advertising GoogleTV could do (HBO Go etc.)  I guess that is how they are going to treat their customers.  Silence the critics, listen only to the good things.  I'm done with this device.  It is going to eBay when I get home.

Re: Official - Flash sites/channels/apps having trouble after Android 3.1 update

I keep trying to watch my daughter's show on www.veoh.com and the show keeps on crashing. It says plug in crash and then Google chrome closes. Please let me know how I can fix this.

Re: Official - Flash sites/channels/apps having trouble after Android 3.1 update

I did the update when it came out but have not used the device much till of late. I have experienced choppy reception and many flash crashes since trying to watch MLB.com. Is there a fix other than re-setting?

Re: Here's what worked for me

As you test 3.2 please try it out on MLB.TV. This is another site which is unwatchable since the 3.1 update.

Thank you,
