Hello Paleogirl2003,

It is best to contact the Revue Support by phone or chat as you will not get a reply to your email for at least 48 hours.

Re: Official - Issues during Update Process itself

I recieved my unit as gift. I tried to do the initial setup on Revue new out of box it updated firmware and reached step 7 and can not go any further. Have taken router out of connection and connected straight through broadband modem and have taken to a friends house trying a different connection. I have reset Revue back to factory default several times during the process and it still hangs at step 7 unable to connect (the exact wording escapes me at the moment). Tried to use email support and Live chat Support but my initial registration never activated my account to allow me to be able to contact either. Tried to call support number but sat on hold understandably for almost an hour and gave up. With any luck I would like to RMA and try a different one.

Hopefully I am posting in the right thread, if not please direct me.

My Revue Info:

P/N: 870-000001

M/N: D-R0001

Hello Etainment,

Please keep trying with the phone support or email support. You do not need to be setup to do email support. Just follow this link: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/ask/section/contact/crid/595/lt_product_id/**/tabs/**/cl/us,...

It is important for you to call into support so that they can troubleshoot your specific setup and then can determine if you need a replacement or not.

You can also try setting up a static IP as outline in the following thread: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Revue/Official-WiFi-issues/td-p/749586 (Step D)

I'm glad I am not the only having issues. I think I am done with google tv and its mainly because of Logitech. I've heard conflicting things about honeycomb being the major cause of its issues. I never tried out setting it up to a cable box since I didn't have cable when I first got it, however I do now and it has never worked. I sent my revue back because Logitech said the update bricked it. Well I just got my new unit back and it still won't let me finish the setup process for adding a cable box. The google play store doesn't work either anymore. Basically its getting pointless to have. I want to sell mine on eBay, but I don't know if I would even feel comfortable doing that. What would I tell prospective buyers? It just is terrible and its not my fault some of the most important functions on it don't work?

My Revue unit updated to 3.2 at some point, but now freezes during the update checking process. Please advise.
