This is a sticky to try and gather in one place all issues you are experiencing durng the update itself. These are things like getting stuck in an enldess loop, freezing during the update, staying on v2.1 even though you thought you updated. If you have issues post-update please post them in other relevant threads..
Please give us your build number if at all possible

Thanks

Well, I thought I was getting the update; I clicked OK and immediately received the exclamation point/triangle warning. I waited about 20 minutes with no results, and finally did a soft reset via the button. I was relieved that it didn't brick, but disappointed that I'm still sitting at 2.1-update1. Any advise on forcing it to attempt again?

Can you give us your build number please.. thanks.
Many user have mentioned that a Factory Reset (press the button on the back for about 45 seconds) has helped.

Build #KA1X-20110620.164.user-b54202
I got the message this morning clicked to download. Screen went black and nothing happened. I pressed the reset button on the back and it rebooted, but 2.1 came up. I've tried pluging in ethernet and rebooting, which didn't work. I'm stuck at 2.1 and haven't seen an update message since this morning. Is it possible to recieve a link to the update and install via usb?
Please help

I actually got the upgrade via wi fi, but I had to do a factory reset. It took about 30 minutes to get through the download and the reboots. I saw the tv with the downward arrow come on the screen about three times. I really didn't think it would work. Its up and seems a little slow and I've got a few errors saying that apps didn't load, but I think I just need to update them through the market.

My build # is KA1X-20110620.164503.USER-B54202 I've tried the factory reset twice without any success. It's downloading something on the reset and applies it, but on the restart I get the triangle of doom. I can reset via control-alt-backspace and the 2.1 setup process continues.

This is garbage. This update has officially bricked my Revue wirelessly. I am going to have to wall fish an ethernet line from my router, up between the walls, into the attic and down between the wall where the revue is. I have a custom built house with active ethernet fiber to the home TV service and internet. This has made me pretty mad..
Hello Portscan,
I am sorry to hear that your Revue has lost its wireless connection.
We have had some reports of this and I would like you to assign a static IP address in the connection setup. You will need to highlight the DHCP section of your wireless connection.
Then you will need to add in the information requested.
Let me know how that goes. Also what is the build number if you are able to get that.

Well I'm not going to solve your wireless router problem but instead of running a cable you can:
1. Review using Powerline type products. Logitech has their own version of these. I use them throughout my house as I didn't have access to the wiring (in the beginning). They give you 200mbs through your electrical and work like a charm. As well they let you setup QOS priorities using management software that links to all the adaptors and allows you to setup who gets highest priority. So the one feeding your Revue can be set with a higher priority than others.
Note that they now come with built-in switches allowing you to attach more than one device. This wasn't available to me so I have a bunch of switches plugged in behind them.
I have pasted some images below for reference. The originals plug right into the wall, you plug your Ethernet into them. You should NOT plug them into any adaptor-extender. So the Belkin solution has it's own wiring that allows you to place the box somewhere if this is more convenient. I have not used any of the current set of devices so there's no recommendation here.

oops. I posted in the main thread then saw this.
that's the post. You can move it, of course.
It's not an issue but an experience that COULD corelate to some of the issues.

I wanted to point out that Netgear has superior PowerLine Kits that allow up to 500Mbps and also has options for single or four port adapters. (http://www.netgear.com/home/products/powerline-and
