Onscreen Notifications

I have a Logitech Revue with my Dish Network box running through it to my TV.  It's annoying that while watching regular TV, I periodically get GTV notifications onscreen regarding "Updates Available...".  I also get notifications regarding my Dish boxes disconnection from the internet connection.  I actually don't seem to have any problem with my internet connection with either the Dish Network box or the Logitech GTV.  I suppose that's irrelevant though, other than it's yet another annoying scrolling notification blocking a portion of my TV screen for five or ten seconds.  What I really want to be able to do is shut off any onscreen notifications generated by the Logitech Revue when I'm just watching Dish programming.  Is there any way to disable this?

Hi bennybbc,

I do understand the inconvenience you have faced and I will be more than glad to help you with any concerns you might have with our Logitech Revue.

In order to disable your Logitech Revue Notifications, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to your Home Page
  2. Select the Notifications Icon (Chat Icon, is next to the Digital Clock)
  3. Click the OK key.
  4. There you will have the Notifications Pop-up
  5. Scroll down untill you se a "Mute Notifications" check box.
  6. Click on the Check box in order to check it.

Please give this a try and let me know how it worked for you bennybbc.

Kind regards,
