Revue, Logitech Media Player and Android Connected Media. No worky?

My wife and I recently took the plunge into the world of Android phones (I'd started devving for android without actually having a phone, but that's a story in and of itself). So we're sitting here with our shiny new Thunderbolts and totally geeking out about all the new apps and the interopability with the Revue. We were out at Disneyland for the day and when we got home, thought it might be nice to view the videos we took from the phones on the big screen. I tap over to the Connected Media app and...nothing. It can't see the Revue as a valid external player. WiFi is on, in fact the Harmony Remote works just fine, but I can't stream my videos or photos over to the Revue.

What gives? Is this not supported yet..still? Seems like an update hasn't been in forever. Perhaps I've done something wrong in my setup that prevents it in which case, I'm all ears. Please enlighten me.

For the record, I installed Twonky after reading through several threads and it works just okay, but I was hoping to simply tell my phone to play the video/show the photo on my TV without so much as an extra mouse click. Is there hope?

There are apps for the android phone that will turn your phone into a media server of sorts.  However, I agree, the ability to display directly from the phone to GTV isn't there yet.  You can send a url, but that is about it.

Re: Revue, Logitech Media Player and Android Connected Media. No worky?

If you install google tv remote, you will be able to forward links to your Revue, but not files. I suspect somebody will write an app that allows to push files from a phone or a tablet to google Tv, or maybe you can do it yourself?
