Revue & Google TV Update - December 15, 2010

Hi,

 

As part of Logitech’s commitment to continuously update the product and add new features, we have begun sending out a software update to Revue over the air today. We are sending the update out in waves and it will take a few days before all Revue boxes receive it. All Revue boxes will receive the update by end of day on Friday, December 17, 2010.

 

Your Revue will display a message when the update is available to you for download and installation. If you are not using Revue when the message is displayed, the update will automatically be installed after 30 minutes of the message being displayed with no response.

 

To check if your Revue has received the update, follow the steps below:

 

  1. From the Google TV home screen, go to Applications > Settings > About.
  2. Scroll down to Build Number. If your Revue has received the update, the number will end in “b42449.”

Below is a list of the new features and bug fixes that are included in the update:

NTFS support for USB sources has been included

You are now able to use the Quick Search Box to search by channel number, e.g. entering channel 140 will provide you with what is showing on channel 140 at that time

Dual View

You can now resize and move the Dual View screen.

When receiving or placing a call and the person on the other end has a Webcam that does not support a high resolution, the call will be displayed in window view

You will now return to the main screen immediately after hanging up a call

CNBC

Previously, launching CNBC and clicking Back to quit the app could cause Revue to display the following message 'CNBC has stopped unexpectedly.' This has been corrected
