> Please, guys, copy some of your files to any USB media and see if the player can play it at all. Which media type and format do you care?
I primarily care about .mp3 and .m4v files. The Revue appears to be able to list and play these just fine when they're on a USB flash drive -- it just doesn't list them when coming from MediaTomb.
The Revue was able to list a .AVI file on the USB drive but could not play it (MJPEG encoding, uncompressed PCM, so I'm not too surprised about this).
I also had a MPEG-1 file on the USB drive, the Revue didn't list it at all (again, I'm not super-surprised by this).
Hope this helps,
Pm

Just posting to say that I'm also having the same problem. DLNA (I was also using MediaTomb) was working great until the update, now it can see my servers but doesn't see anything on them--no files or folders. This is the main reason I got the Revue and I'm really hoping there's a fix coming. Can someone please let us know that they're working on this and when we can expect to be able to use our Revues again?

Has anyone open a support ticket with Logitech about this? (I just did. Waiting now.)
(Logitech tech support employees don't actually do support in the community forums; they just post announcements.)
You can do so by going here: http://revue.logitech.com/support
And clicking the "Send an e-mail" link on the right (Talk to an expert section).

I am alkso experiencing this issue on mediatomb and have opened a support ticket on the issue. Other DLNA devices in the house play from media tomb just fine as my revue did before this latest update.

Dear Patrick,
Thank you for contacting Logitech Customer Care about your Smart TV
I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. From the explanation of your Email, I know you are experiencing difficulty accessing files in your DLNA server. We did receive reports from customers that since the update they no longer are able to view their media files on the LMP app when using MediaTomb on a Linux machine. Revue detects the network source, but does not list any of the media content. Our specialist team is currently investigating this issue, please give us some time to get it solved.
...
I'm not very encouraged by the "please give us some time to get it solved" portion of the response. It sounds like it may be months before a fix will be available.

Hi All,
We are currently investigating this issue, and do not have an ETA as to when a fix will be available. I'll post in the forums to keep you all updated when I have more information.
Regards,
Mark

Received answer from support. They told me they're working on a fix, and that when they have one, they will release a software update with the fix.
Until then, they said I could use TwonkyServer or Tversity, which apparently work fine with the Revue at this time.
I told them those were not good options, since the first is not free, and the second is Windows-only.
