Revue and Accessories

Hi

I have not done much with my Revue, not streaming movies or stuff like that.  For just using it for internet.  Well, I have started to get message something like "ah snap connection lost"  with try to reload button.  And it still does not work.  Anyone have any thoughts.  Yesterday it could not even do Google Chrome.

Did you try CTRL+ALT+DEL yet to reboot the Revue? You may also want to go into the Chrome settings and clear your cache and see if that helps as well.

I'll give it a try, the Chrome would not even let me go tthe tv setting.  See what happnes, check back in a few days.

I have the same issue with my review.   It's some issue between the Revue and my wifi router a TrendNet.  No other device has issues with the wifi disconnecting, only the revue.

Hello JonC,

 Have you attempted giving the revue a static ip? When did this problem start? Have you attempted to establish a steady connection using an ethernet?

 Try doing the following :

 Power Cycle the Wifi Router first and then reboot the revue. Once the Revue boots up fully, try to see if you can re-connect to your network.

 I would also run a speedtest to see what kind of upload and download that you are getting from your wireless provider.

Hi

When I shut it down before submitting this problem I pressed the on rt rear of the unit (facing it head on) and I guess that rebooted it.  The next day, after the reboot answer it worked fine and has been able to hold a webpage.  Will keep and eye on it.  How is a speedtest run if needed?
