I wanted to drop back by and post on my results long-term - as most of us know by now, the recommended steps that CrimsonKing was so kind as to post up help only for a shot time, and to a small extent.
I feel Logitech, in ALL of these threads in sum total, participates only to the degree they feel they have to, for the sake of their *other* products, IMHO.
I must admit I am still a bit miffed that "Cat" could not even bring herself to post a link to those steps in her response in this thread - it's a good thing she is not my employee.
I do NOT think we are going to see any improvement in this, as the product itself is dead, forever, Logitech has abandoned it - so any outside vendors are not going to put any priority on this for Logitech, it seems obvious to me.
This is what happens when there is NO BETA TESTING - and anyone who claims there was beta testing of this "update"on the Revue is on drugs - bad drugs.
THis has been going on for months now - if there was any REAL concern over this, it would have been fixed by now, I work with software developers and actual firmware engineers, among others, so I know what can be done when there is desire and task allocation - and it ain't happening here.
