Using "Logitech Media Player" with "WD Elements Play"

Does Logitech Media Player work with Western Digital's "Elements" media drive? Can VOB files be played on the Revue from it (since the WD Elements suuports VOB)? I currently have a Seagate "BlackArmor NAS 110" that LMP doesn't want to work with. I can see folder names, but nothing plays. Would getting a WD Elements do any good? Thanks.

Hello Sawmill,

 

The Revue and LMS will not support VOB however it should work on hard drives 1TB or under, once you exceed 1TB we have seen notable issues with scanning and stability. As I have no info on whether that particular exHD will or will not work I would search the forum with some keywords to see if you can dig up some details. There may also be another user such as yourself who has tried or succeeded with using the WD Elements and may share their knowledge on that hardware.
