No you will not have access to the app it just shows TV and Movie listings.

You still have to go the Applications to select the the app.

So Mark5 what real benefits would adding Netflix to my "shelf" provide us? Would it allow us to use the Revue/GTV search function to also search Netflix content???

Yeah, so when you do a factory reset and it adds the Netflix Shelf which search function does it add? If you add the Shelf manually you choose what search function you want to add, so I'm not sure which it adds when you do the Factory Reset and it adds the Netflix Shelf automatically. You said it wouldn't add the app itself, so it must add some search function then, right?

All the shelf is, is it adds Netflix content to the home page of the Revue/GoogleTV.  It doesn't change how anything else works.  Just makes it easier to access Netflix content without having to go into Applications/Netflix.  It also forces you to choose the landing page for Netflix (like just released, or Instant Queue, or both if you'd like).  It is very much like adding a shortcut to one of your home screens on an Android Phone.

Netflix content was added/suuported for the Search bar at some point.  It doens't show in the first list, but Movies are listed in the sublists.  If I get around to it, I'll post screen shots of what I'm talking about.

@RZ  You are right, I'm making stuff up on the Revue.  It gives you the options of Just released Movies, just released tv, or several different generes.

None of them were worth putting on my main Revue, so I couldn't remember which were offered.

I just hope we see the sdk soon, too bad for me updated my box already i shouldnt have or else i couldve rooted it. && i wouldnt mind destroying my warranty or logitech not being able to provide me with support i just want to be able to work with this thing
