When will the 3.2 update be released?

Since it is now being rolled out to Sony devices when can we expect the improvements to be rolled out to the Logitech Revue since Logitech fubarred the 3,1 release?

Re: When will the 3.2 update be released?

I too would like to know when the 3.2 update will be released.  Google added enhanced HLS support which is needed for a fully functional Plex client.  Plex is awesome on the Revue.

I know Logitech isn't very happy with how Google TV turned out for them, but I do expect them to support the product they sold me, by providing updates to the platform.

Truthfully I feel if the Revue was launched at $199 with the current Honeycomb software it would have done a lot better.  It just wasn't ready at launch which is why it didn't do very well, plus with Apple and Roku selling their products at $99 it's a tough sell.

But I love my Revue and really hope it gets the 3.2 update.  Maybe Logitech will get back into the game with a Revue 2 running a cheap ARM chipset.

It sure would be nice if Logitech would let us know if they are going to update to 3.2 or not?  Logitech are you listening?

For any information about updates please see our online blog at http://blog.logitech.com

That is where any announcements will be made.

Re: When will the 3.2 update be released?

I would say at least a month from the sony update as that is how long it was between the 3.1 updates.  I just hope they'll add the MPEG2 Support like Sony also did. Any set top box should at the minimum support all MPEG formats. That way people edditing home movies can watch them without needing very powerfull hardware to encode mp4 at a decent speed.

Re: When will the 3.2 update be released?

Is it a month yet? Looks like there is atleast (indirect) confirmation of a 3.2 release by Logitech.....see Google TV team post on Feb 29 in the comments section at

Hopefully, the 3.2 scope is the same as that released for the Sony Google TV and that it will be soon!

Re: When will the 3.2 update be released?

Referring to a blog that doesn't address the question is not an acceptable answer.

I understand that the announcement of an impending release will be made on the blog, but the question everyone has here is, "Is Logitec going to support the Revue and continue to provide updates?".

Don't leave us haning with anticipation on that one.  If you're not, please say so, whether it be here on the forum or on the blog.  Knowing our fate may make people mad, but not as furious as corporate silence.

I suppose the complainers will eventually, "just go away", but is that any way to run a business?  Of course, do note that the people that bought the Revue are probably influencers to friends and family for tech products.

Do the right thing, Logitech.

I love the Revue.  I wish Logitech hadn't given up on it.  The product isn't a failure, the numbers game behind it was the failure.

Re: When will the 3.2 update be released?

Hello Kurelgyer,

It is important to note that Logitech remains committed to all of its Logitech Revue customers and will continue to provide them with customer support under our warranty policy. We will also continue to support the Media Player, TV Cam, Keyboard Controller and Mini Keyboard.

Re: When will the 3.2 update be released?

So when you say Logitech will stay committed, does this mean A or B...

A) Yes, Logitech is committed to keeping the Revue up to date with the latest software.

B) Yes, Logitech is committed to keeping the Revue service running with 3.1 and only 3.1.

I just want to see if I should start planning for the Vizio or Sony set top box or if I can keep my Revue.
