I just ran network speed test (speedtest.net) on my box and got just 2Mb both ways. My Road Runner speed is 20Mb DL / 2 Mb UL. My wireless access point is just 10 feet from my box and test show I get 36Mb out of it (InSSIDer.exe), not great but more than RR is providing. I have the access point on a different channel from any area (neighbors) signals.
Chrome is very slow. I could run a cable from my router but that would require a new hole in the floor and carpet, not very wife compatible. Any suggestions?

Cut your ISP (RoadRunner) out of the loop and just do a transfer from your Revue unit to another device attached to your network, a PC or Mac.
Press Home > All Apps > Settings > Storage > Configure FTP Access > Enable FTP Access
Then use the address listed on your screen to FTP in you your Revue unit and transfer a large file accross. Monitor the speed of that transfer on your PC/Mac device.
I'm on TimeWarner, living in a major city and get pretty good speed (20Mbps down / 1Mbps up) through them during the early morning and late night. But in the afternoon and evening, my average speeds are more likely to be around 3Mbps down / 1Mbps up. This is just quick enough to watch Netflix... most of the time.
