Re: media player - not indexing all DLNA??

[ Edited ]

Device is a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Home 2TB

Certificate: http://certification.dlna.org/certs/REG72871318.pdf

Device works perfectly when accessed by a PC or by our XBox 360.  It is only on the revue that we can not access any of the music or photos.  It does seem to index the videos now, but only when you go to access them.  It does not index them at 2AM when it is supposed to, that indexing just tells us that it failed to index.

We have 1.56TB free out of the 1.82TB that is usable.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you once again for this information. I have passed it on and I will let you know when I find something out. If more people can fill out this information though it may still help.

I've never been able to get my "BlackArmor NAS 110 2TB" to work with Logitech Media Player, nor Avia, etc. other than a few jpgs. "Indexing failed." DNLA Certification: http://certification.dlna.org/certs/REG68045852.pdf

Could you maybe provide us with some estimated time time when we will have a first response from the people responsible for this bug of the Revue?

Not a solution maybe but something, anything..

Of course It's good with more information and technical details from users.. but it's pretty obvious that we all have the same problem, with different HDD size, used space, DLNA-servers.

I think almost everyone here stated that their DLNA server works with other players like xbox, ps3 etc.

So what about a preliminary statement?

Where in the process are you guys?

Identifying the problem? (done)

Re-creation of the problem?

Finding the cause?

Creating a solution?

Distributing a solution to customers?

Thank's in advance!

Re: media player - not indexing all DLNA??

Hello Ankfoot,

Unfortunately I have heard nothing back yet, but when I do I will for sure update everyone. For me I just pass the information onto our Product Specialists who then take this to the Engineering Team therefore I have to wait for any feedback about what is going on.

Re: media player - not indexing all DLNA??

I found a media player in the Android Marketplace called Avia (sp).  Works fine with my setup, Logitech Media Player still does not.

Hello Ankfoot,

I have contacted the Product Specialists about this every week or so, but I have not heard anything back yet.
