ok i have an 500gigs western digital hard drive and i have a ton of movies on it , i have them all in mp4 format which should be compatable to the revue, but the revue will not even recongnize my hard drive, what am im doing wrong.

most likely your hdd is formatted NTFS, which android / google tv devices have trouble with. 

Try reformatting the drive fat32
