tinycam

I'm having trouble installing tinycam free. It simply will not install properly and show up as an app. It shows as installed in Google Play list, but does not show up as an app with the others in the regular app view. Also, I can not install other ip camera apps. Any ideas?

Re: tinycam

Hello Sierra7,

The Revue and Revue TV cam only support the Logitech Vid application and will not work with 3rd party apps/hardware.

Thanks, but this appears to be part of the "Google Play will not update" issue and not an issue of a 3rd party app, Tinycam is an ip camera surveillance app and not a video chat app, thus would not interfere with your proprietary logitech TV cam. It is a featured Google TV app, so I certainly hope it would work. I have tried removing my Google account and have moved on to a full system reset. I'm crossing my fingers.

Re: tinycam

Hello Sierra7,

Have you attempted to remove the app, reboot the revue and then attempt to re-install the app again?

Re: tinycam

Had to do a factory reset to get Google Play to update, and then I was able to install apps again. Thanks.

Re: tinycam

Hello sierra7,

Glad to be of any assistance. I am glad to find out that Performing a Factory Reset has aided in getting your concerns resolved. I will wishfully think that you don't run into any further problems from here on :smileywink:
