Since the last update, (software and camera), my cameras now experience recording errors. The cameras still seem to work properly live, they just do not record. The problem appears to be with the SD card and reformatting seems to correct the issue, although temporarily. One camera has now experienced this twice and I am expecting another camera to do the same thing, (for the second time) this week.
I thought the SD card only recorded while the software was closed, however, that does not seem to be the case.
Any ideas or is there a known bug in the latest update?

It always records to the SD card...and subsequently copies to the PC disk when Alert Commander is running. The microSDHC cards are pretty cheap...so you may just want to get a bigger one anyway just to see if it an SD card issue. Were there any power glitches when the camera dropped...or excessive motion...or something else that happens around the time it drops ?
You can read through a lot on SD cards in the Alert Forum to get other ideas.

I do not believe there were any glitches. Looks like only time will tell if it is a recurring problem. I certainly can not be the only one that has experienced this, at least, I wouldn't think.

One of my cameras has again experienced this error. The camera still works because you can view live images. It just doesn't record until the SD card is reformatted. Hard to believe I'm the only one that has experienced this........

I have been having an issue similar for ten days. I have only had the camera a few months.
All devices are showing as up-to-date.
I tried a different SD card. I can only view live video... I have no recordings. Camera says the SD card is ok and has no recording on it. I have tried formatting with camera and PC.
Camera flashes red and orange from the microphone led.
Weird thing I see is that the cameras memory shows:
Free Disk Space" value="4.17 MB"
Total Disk Space" value="55.0 MB"
Which is weird when there is a 2GB card in there. It reported 1.8gb in the PC.

The card I pulled from the camera after having formatted it in the camera still had all the junk on it that it had when I put it in the camera. So it didn't format. The card in the camera right now was freshly formatted in the PC. It is still not recording and I don't want to keep climbing on my roof to try to fix this.

You can try taking the micro card out and formatting it in your computer first, then replace and format in the camera..Sounds like thats what you've done other than formatting again in your camera. Mine wasn't saving info, nor would it format in the camera on the first round.
I'll let you know how it works from there. But things seem better. It's sending warnings. copying to PC, etc. So far so good.

How do I get help on this issue? I reaaly need this working.
How long should it take to clear the sd card using the camera formatting option? It seems to take awhile for me.
Based on this page: http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/de
The Red and orange flashing means I have an SD card Read/write issue. So how do I fix it?

I called Logitech and thwy had me push the reset button. That didn't do anything so I guess they are sending me an SD card. I am not hopeful that will work since I already tried another card and it didn't work.

My camera has stopped recording, We have done all the troubleshooting and it still doesn't work. Has anyone gotten their problem resolved? Accessing our camera is not easy and I would like to know how to correct the issue before I have to climb up there again... Everything else seems to work fine...and it worked for months without any problem. Recordings are a top priority for me. Please help!!!
