Since the most recent update (4) of my camers are not recording any video but otherwise working fine. The system has been in use for over a year and has always recorded. I have tried resetting the cameras and reformating the SD cards. I have read other posts about the same issue; was this a software issue? and how do I get the camers to star recording again?

A few things to try -
If you don't need any of the previous recordings stored on the computer, try manually deleting them from the folder (default C:\Logitech Alert Recordings) .
Check the motion settings for each camera. First turn them down to 0 and give it a few minutes to allow any possible queued videos to be sent to the computer. (If the cameras are attempting to record they will not be able to send any saved data to the computer).
Next try setting the motion to about 50% and triggering it. Check to see if the recording goes through.
Next try checking the SD cards directly on the computer to check if there are recordings on the card. Format the card through the computer... be sure that it is NTFS format.
Also, a bit more information might help...
What is the color of the status light on the cameras?
What is the bandwidth and powerline performance when running diagnostics?
Are you using any other device along with the cameras? (e.g., surge protectors, extension cables, PoE switch...)
