Commander Software in two locations?

I'm using Commander software on my laptop for my home system and it is "active" (live) most of the day since I'm here 95% of the time, so no problem (and no time outs)... however when I travel I would prefer to have full (not timed) access - can I install Commander on a desktop at home and ALSO have it on my laptop when I travel, as long as only one is turned on at a time? Or is that even necessary?   If not possible, why?   It's my broadband, so why time it out?

I really don't care for the forced (and inflexible, why not at lest offer options here, say 10, 30, 60 and 90 mins?)  timeout forced on Web Commander and Mobile Commander and also the lack of "multi" views.   Is there a solution for this?   I see others commenting they have two systems in different states that are accessible by the same Commander software no matter whether they are physically at one or the other location (such as a vacation home.)    Thanks for you help...

Re: Commander Software in two locations?

Hi nellz914

It is possible to have the software installed on both computers, although it is not recommended. If you really need to though, just make sure that only *one* iteration of the software is running at a time. The cameras do not have the ability to stream to two local locations at the same time.
