How can I keep my camera from switching from color to B&W in daylight?

I've seen a couple of people with this issue before...search the Alert Forum to read those cases. I think about all you can do with the camera's current viewpoint is to try adjusting the contrast/brightness manually. Go to Advanced under the camera and uncheck Auto Levels. I personally leave brightness at 50%, but set my contrast to zero ( way too much contrast for me under Auto )...you can play with those settings to see if you can prevent the issue ( I've never seen that myself...plenty of light in the areas I monitor with my 6 cameras ). If that doesn't improve it, you may have to mount/point/zoom it differently...that's about all I can think of. Must be a very shady area...?
