Disabled Accounts

[ Edited ]

Hello.

I had an account under 'Horsey' but, when I attempted to sign-in (and I know that passwords are case sensitive), it stated that my account was disabled.

I created a second account yesterday under 'Canuck12,' but, when I attempted to sign-in today, account disabled.

I created a 'third' account today under 'Canuck13' but that was disabled.

I created a 'fourth' account today under 'Canuck14' that I am currently using topost this message.

I would like Horsey, Canuck13, and Canuck14 disabled and 'Horsey' reactivated.

I entered my username in order to request username but it only sent my email address (which is useless). I entered my username to reset my password but nothing was emailed since my accounts are disabled.

This is a very frustrating process just to access a forum.

I have to stay logged in to this account (Canuck14), otherwise this account will be disabled too.

Can someone 'please' assist me? Is there a glitch somewhere or am I supposed to log-in on a certain page?

Re: Disabled Accounts

Hi Canuck14,

The accounts you've created should be active. The support community utilizes the single sign-on interface used by our support portal. Please make sure you use your email address as the username (not your forums user handle) when you login.

If you continue to experience issues logging in, please call our support team directly and they will be able to walk you though the login process over the phone.

Regards,

Re: Disabled Accounts

Anton:

I followed your suggestion and I was able to sign-in to three accounts (Canuck12, Canuck13, and Canuck14) using my email address (not my username) in the username section. Why it requests 'username' and not 'email address' is beyond me but that would explain why I was unable to sign-in and why additional accounts had to be created.

However, I was unable to sign-in to my 'Horsey' account. Does an account become 'disabled' after a certain period of time of inactivity because I cannot access it using my email address.

Also, can additional accounts be deleted by myself or a moderator? Now that I can sign-in with one account, I have no need for the other accounts.

Thanks.

Re: Disabled Accounts

Hi Canuck14,

Yes, we can certainly disable the other accounts. Regarding your account under the user ID "Horsey", it is disabled according to this post from 2008 http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Webcams/Error-Message-When-Changing-Image-Size-Windows-2000/m-p/238557...

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Re: Disabled Accounts

Hello.

Please disable the 'Canuck12' and 'Canuck13' accounts and confirm that this has been done.  'Canuck14' will be my primary account.

What does the 2008 post have to do with the 'Horsey' account being disabled?  Is it disabled because the latest post from that account was four and a half years ago or for another reason?

Re: Disabled Accounts

'Canuck12' and 'Canuck13' have been disabled per your request.

In your 2008 post, you've stated:

"I want to keep the Horsey1 account-Please delete the 'Horsey' account."

Because of this, the account under the user ID 'Horsey" was disabled.

Re: Disabled Accounts

Thank you for deleting 'Canuck12' and 'Canuck13.'

I understand why the 'Horsey' account was deleted.

Please also delete the 'Horsey1' account and confirm that this has been done.

Thanks.

Re: Disabled Accounts

I've asked our support team to take a look at the account  "Horsey1", and looks like it has already been disabled.

Re: Disabled Accounts

Hi I have an issue related to this topic, I've purchased two products from Logitech, a G35 Headset and Gx9 Mice.

I had an account but had trouble signing in, and after so many tried I gave up and stopped logging in for some time.

After some time I tried again but was unable, so I tried to recover my password but I didn't got anything in my email.

I made a new account with the email I used and it was like a new account. The issue is that the purchases I made don't appear anymore, and I have no past purchases on my account. I'm having trouble with my G35 since the a part of the cable started ripping until the inside of the lather came off and the plastic was getting chewed off. The sound is not working and I want to know if it can get fixed by warranty. However not having the purchases on my account anymore bring my hopes down, and I can't seem to find the receipt I got in the box it came with. I hope there can be a solution to this and thank you.
