I'm hoping that one day there will be a logictech gaming keyboard that has mechanical switches (the cherry red are the only ones I have experience with atm)
I know (or at least I assume) You can't comment on unannounced products, so if you do have something like that it the pipelines, I may not be able to know.
I've tried a mechanical keyboard, and like the feel of it pretty well, but I went back to my G510, as I miss the LCD display (as well as the LED lite keys) If there was a keyboard that combined the G510 with mechanical switches, that could be something worthwhile.

I totally agree with this. I really like the feel of mechanical keys and break out my Razer Black Widow Ultimate from time to time but it only lasts a week til Im back on my G510. The design and especially the feature set of the G510 make it virtually ideal for me. I cant live without the volume and mute buttons and I cant believe how much Ive come to rely on the LCD for monitoring FRAPS or Core Temp or the clock or the performance monitor and the stupid easy on the fly macro recording is a must-have. And lets not forget, the adjustable backlight color is just cool as all get out and who doesnt love a cool looking keyboard!
A mechanical version of this awesome keyboard and Id be all like -----

PC gamer & overclocker
G510 • G9 • G700

I had a G510 for a couple moths, it's very comfortable and I liked the volume button and layout, but its too wide it looks like a synthesizer to me, also no usb hub and the screen is too small..so I sold it! Make us mechanical keyboard with cherry brown or black swithes WITHOUT ugly macros on the side witch makes it so wide. Individual backlightning with option to have my asdw and ctrl shine in different colour also I want space to shine too!! Big nice colour lcd like on g19 and usb hub. In brief a mechanical g19 without macros on the side would be very nice! The reason I hate macros on the side is because no one need whole keyboard with nums and extra macros on the side, we could program any key on the basic layout, and through changing profiles have our macros loaded any time.. I'm sorry because razer is two steps ahead of you, but I'll wait for my Logitech mechanical kb. don't let us go, we waiting for so long now! ![]()
